Sara Sakowitz '18CC
Sara is the President of the Columbia Organization of Rising Entrepreneurs, Columbia's undergraduate entrepreneurship society. She is the founder of science education startup Blue Moon Box and the co-founder of Firefly, a company that aims to help small businesses preserve their local communities. She was recently named to Crains New York's 20 Under 20 and the NYC Economic Development Corporation's 10 Under 20. Outside of entrepreneurship, she is very active in cancer research; she was a 2014 Intel Science Talent Search National Finalist, a 2014 Intel Science and Engineering Fair First Prize winner, and the National Winner of Google and Ellen Degeneres' Made With Code prize. Sara is a sophomore majoring in Biology at Columbia College.
