In March of this year Jim Elliott joined Arnold Worldwide as Global Chief Creative Officer, overseeing creative work for the network’s numerous well-known brands including Progressive Insurance, KAO, Jack Daniel’s, Carnival Cruise Lines, CenturyLink, Hershey’, New Balance and Ocean Spray.
Prior to joining Arnold, Jim was Chief Creative officer at Y&R New York where he was instrumental in the stewarding of such internationally known brands as Land Rover, Virgin Atlantic, Campbell’s and Dell.
Prior to that, Jim served as Group Creative Director at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco, where he spent five years working on key brands including Häagen-Dazs, Hyundai, Denny’s, Sonic Drive-In, HP, Yahoo! and Netflix. His work for Hyundai helped turn the struggling car manufacturer into one of the most successful car companies in America during one of the worst economic climates on record.
Jim’s awards include Cannes, Clios, D&AD, CLIO, AICP, Andy’s, The One Show, London International, New York Festivals, The Art Directors Club, Stephen E. Kelly, Effie Worldwide, Epica Awards, National ADDY, Radio-Mercury, The Webby Awards and the Yahoo! Big Idea Chair. His work for both Nike and Häagen-Dazs are on permanent display at the MoMA. His integrated “Help the Honey Bees” campaign for Häagen-Dazs earned the brand the first-ever Green Pencil awarded by The One Club.
Jim came to advertising by way of the Portfolio Center in Atlanta following a BA from the University of Pennsylvania. He currently resides in Manhattan with his wife Sharlyn, their Labrador Retriever “Teej” and their son Kayden James.
