Eileen is the COO at Venture for America, a two-year fellowship program for enterprising recent college grads to launch their careers as entrepreneurs. After five weeks of training, VFA Fellows spend two years getting hands-on experience and learning how to contribute at a startup in an emerging U.S. city. VFA provides the community, mentorship, network, and resources Fellows need to become entrepreneurs. One of four VFA alumni have gone on to start companies of their own.

Eileen, a born and raised New Yorker, graduated from Columbia University with a degree in economics. After 5 years of traveling full-time as a management consultant at Accenture, Eileen joined VFA as the first official employee in 2011. Since then she's been actively involved in building the organization and team, and defining VFA's mission, core values, and culture. Overseeing all operations, she ensures VFA runs smoothly, stays focused, and continues to grow and scale. Eileen also serves on VFA’s women's initiative and diversity committee, VFA Rise, and sits on the advisory council of Project Entrepreneur, a Rent the Runway and UBS partnership initiative.
