As one of the largest student societies at Columbia, the Columbia Organization of Rising Entrepreneurs (CORE) works to inspire, educate, and launch the next generation of student entrepreneurs. We are excited to serve over 1,850 student subscribers to our weekly newsletter, 1500 unique visitors to our Jobs Board, and over 1,000 students following our page on Facebook. We’ve been honored to help host Jack Dorsey (Twitter & Square), Alexis Ohanian (Reddit), Zach Sims (Codecademy), Jared Hecht (GroupMe), Howard Marks (Activision), Amol Sarva (Virgin Mobile), among other fantastic entrepreneurs. Among other programs, CORE hosts the University’s popular Startup Internship Program (SIP), a partnership with the Columbia Center for Career Education that pairs students with fantastic startup employers throughout the Spring semester, and supports them with workshops and regular events.
